Prenatal Wall Warm-Up

This Prenatal Wall Strength Flow focuses on building upper-body strength, improving posture, and maintaining healthy shoulder mobility while supporting the changing demands of pregnancy. We'll begin with diaphragmatic breathing to activate the deep core, encourage relaxation, and establish a strong connection between breath and movement before progressing into gentle upper-body strengthening exercises.

Using the wall for support, you'll move through shoulder stretches, chest-opening movements, and light resistance exercises that strengthen the shoulders, upper back, chest, and arms. Whether you're using only your body weight or adding light hand weights, each movement is designed to improve posture, increase stability, and prepare your body for the everyday activities of pregnancy and motherhood.

As your pregnancy progresses, lying on your stomach becomes less comfortable, but that doesn't mean you stop training these important muscle groups. Wall-supported exercises provide a safe and effective way to continue developing strength while respecting your body's changing needs. Every movement can be adjusted by reducing the range of motion, decreasing the resistance, or simply slowing your pace.

Throughout this class, remember that strength is built through consistency, not intensity. Move with your breath, maintain control, and allow your body to guide each repetition. Every intentional movement helps improve posture, supports healthy movement patterns, and prepares your body for the physical demands of pregnancy, birth, and caring for your baby. As always, move with intention, listen to your body, and give yourself grace. The movement may change, but the purpose stays the same.
